Created in 2018 by Magdalena Myrczik and David Almagro. Beyond artistic values, they aim to convey important messages through music that reflect their principles, such as environmental education.
Musically, they have a strong interest in contemporary art, which has led them to collaborate with various composers on projects for the promotion of contemporary music and new commissions.
Their artistic quality is supported by the numerous national and international awards. They have been rewarded in competitions such as Anton Garcia Abril, Re_Cre@ or Percute, as well as being selected for various festivals (Partides, Vecindario, Percussion Fest), where they are commonly appreciated for their great cohesion, expressiveness, and energy in performance.
FLOWSTICK ENSEMBLE
FlowStick Ensemble is a duo consisting of percussionist Magdalena Myrczik and flutist Kalina Majewska, blending classical and contemporary elements to create a fresh and dynamic sound. Their repertoire includes original arrangements of classical works as well as contemporary pieces composed specifically for their ensemble.
They made their international debut after winning the American Protégé Concerto Competition in New York, which granted them the opportunity to perform at the renowned Carnegie Hall. They have also appeared at festivals in Spain, Poland, and Germany.
After a three-year hiatus, the duo is now based in Spain and is resuming its activities with new projects. These include MUSIC MakeOver, which reinterprets classical music, and GAIA, a project that promotes feminist and environmental values through newly created music.
EDUCATION
Magdalena is an active educator who has given multiple masterclasses across Spain, Poland, and Germany during various events and festivals, working with students from all educational levels.

She is also involved in organizing the International Percussion Festival PerKeXick, where she holds a regular teaching position and is responsible for coordinating the competition.
Currently, she is developing projects in collaboration with other musicians and actors, aiming to promote classical music to children.
